Event Schedule:
MONDAY, AUGUST 12
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Arrivals, Hotel Check-In, Summit Check-In through Greater Giving, plus pick up your name tag and swag bag.

5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Welcome Dinner & Reception (optional). Connect with colleagues from across the region during a casual Welcome Reception at the hotel.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 13 – Summit Day 1
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
The first day of the Summit begins at 8:30am sharp. We will be joined by guest presenters from the Center for Development Operations, HeartU, and Health Strategies teams. Training sessions will cover Tableau, Expenses, and Event Reconciliation. The afternoon training sessions will cover sponsorship agreements and strategies for productivity and prioritization. You will also have the opportunity to join the Nation of Lifesavers by becoming CPR Certified (keep an eye out for an e-mail with pre-summit homework!).

Optional Evening Activity: Minor League Baseball Game - Wilmington Blue Rocks vs. Brooklyn Cyclones. Game begins at 6:35pm

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 14 – Summit Day 2
8:30 AM – 5:45 PM
Kelly Grose, Region EVP, Dawn Clark, Region AEVP, and David Morris, VP of Development, Philadelphia will kick off the morning by sharing their vision and goals for FY24/25, followed by a Q&A. Please submit any questions you would like them to answer when you register for the Summit! Training and breakout sessions will cover Change Management, Career Pathing, Legal and Risk Management, Contracts, and Event Logistics for Socials and Heart Walk. We will be joined by guest presenters from the HeartU, HR, Legal, and Fundraising Systems teams.

Optional Evening Activity: The Main Event Newark. Bus departs at 6:30pm

THURSDAY, AUGUST 15 – Summit Day 3
8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Connect with your teams and wrap-up what you learned over the last two days with Jeopardy. We will end out our summit with a mock Go Red for Women Luncheon and Awards Ceremony before we all make our journeys home in the afternoon.

Attire:
Business Casual following the American Heart Association's dress code policy (jeans are allowed).

Attendees will self park in provided parking lot
